Darwin McKay, founder of The Turf Company has served as President of Turf Producers International, has served as Chairman of the Horticulture Advisory Committee for Boise State University and has assisted in the development and research of several types of new, revolutionary turf types now being used in southwestern Idaho and Nevada - the most recent being RTF®. You have heard Darwin on local radio shows offering advice on how to care for your lawn. You have also seen him sponsoring the soccer teams in the community offering his turf fields for play. Darwin also volunteers his time teaching turf grass sciences to all Master Gardeners in the area. Since Habitat for Humanity started building homes in 1991, The Turf Company has donated all the turf for the lawns of all these homes.
