Ameri-Turf, Anderson, IN was started in 1960 known as Warren’s Turf. Ben Warren the “grandfather of sod” started this location on 150 acres of dark muck “black” soil. In 1996 the Woerner family acquired the Anderson Indiana location and in 10 years we have grown into Indiana’s largest sod supplier now producing sod on 1200 acres of a mineral loam soil. Ameri-Turf also has a distribution center at 4600 W. 96th St., Indianapolis.
